India rewards Vedruna work in Manipur

The president of India awarded Sister William Parmar, a young religious of the Carmelites of Charity of Vedruna, in Manipur, who leads projects in favor of education and health care for the poorest and promotes care for the environment.


Sister Parmar obtained the 2018-2019 award from the NSS in the category of "Program Leader of the NSS Unit" as "recognition of her exemplary and commendable social service," said the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports according to the newspaper India Matters.
